Team Flight Dance Supplies

Carol Compton

When I retired from teaching in 2006 I became a volunteer for Camp Quality and in 2010 I did the Camp Quality Kokoda Track Challenge.
I had a fantastic time on the 2011 Ride4Kids and met the most wonderful people in our riders and support crew. I’m looking forward to joining up with most of them again for the 2012 ride.  When people ask me why I do these challenges, I say ‘It’s for the kids and I am so thankful that I am healthy and fit enough to.’

Sophie Towns

I live in East Maitland with my mum, dad, brother Brodie, Sister Phoebe and my two dogs Rosie and Teddie. I love ballet and playing netball.  I am very excited to be doing this ride again this year after completing the Ride 4 Kids .... Armidale to Maitland in 2011.

It was a great challenge and lots of fun and I met lots of wonderful people who have become great friends.  I can’t wait to get back together with lots of them (and the new riders) to complete this challenge for the Camp Quality kids in 2012.

Ali Kimmorley

I am married to Craig who is also doing the ride (yes we are crazy together!).  We enjoy spending time with family and friends and always seem to be saying yes to every invitation so this leads to a very busy life.  On the work front I own a recruitment business and love supporting people to find their perfect role, as well as supporting businesses to find the best people for their teams.  I enjoy being active, getting out in the open to exercise and making sure that I make the most of every day.
This will be my third big Camp Quality Challenge and I have thoroughly enjoyed the team spirit and fun that has come with each.  Amazing experiences and at the same time raising money for the kids makes it the complete package!

Kristy Laney

I am 21 years old and have a keen interest in fashion, photography and scrapbooking.  I love being surrounded by my family and friends and am always willing to meet new people and take on new experiences.
Ride 4 Kids Armidale to Maitland was a life changing experience for me. The people I met, the generosity I saw firsthand in each town & the passion that each one of us undertaking the challenge shared was amazing. Being able to raise so much money and then witnessing what we had achieved when I attended CQ Junior Camp a few weeks after the Challenge, seeing all the kids having the time of their lives was well worth every minute on that bike! And that’s why I can’t wait for the 1000kms 4 kids 2012 Challenge, to raise as much money as possible to ensure CQ can continue to provide these amazing kids with more fun filled experiences.

I am 36 years of age happily married and have three young children. In my spare time I love going to the gym and landscaping. I first heard about the 1000 K's 4 Kids Ride from a work friend who is heavily involved with camp quality.

I am an ex-police officer who spent a number of months while stationed at Parramatta on Bikes. I loved the challenge of Policing from a bike. Even though that was eight year ago and I was a lot
fitter then I now. I really wanted to get involved.

On the 7th September 2012 to the 16th September 2012, I will be joining 29 rides and 15 support staff in a bike ride from Ipswich to Newcastle known as 1000 K's 4 kids. Our goal is to raise much needed funds and awarness for inspirational children who are effected by cancer. I am privileged to be taking part as a rider and wish to thank Camp Quality for this opportunity.
