Not long after all the riders got into Glen Innes and were rested and showered, one of our riders (Dean) got a call to advise his two little boys had been involved in a bus crash in Singleton. Brad drove Dean back to Singleton to be with his family.
Tragically Dean's son Harry passed away and his other son Luke was airlifted to Hospital.
Our riders are all very distraught for their team mate Dean. They have all become so close and Dean is such a treasured member of our team.

Oh my goodness. I cannot imagine the grief that Dean and his family are going through right now. Even reading the newspaper article brought me to tears, now seeing that one of the amazing people participating in this fundraising cycle has had this life changing, devasting blow is unbelievable. I will be thinking about Dean and his family...
