Day 5 was a very tough emotional day for everyone. The riders and support crew are such an inspiration and their courage and tenacity is incredible.
They all got up early this morning with one thing on their mind - to do the only thing they could do for Dean and complete the ride he set out to do. So, courageously they all put black bands around their arms and jumped back on their bikes. They are an absolute inspiration.
Today we visited Uralla Central School. Once again the kids were so excited to meet our Puppets and the riders. It is so exciting to watch their eyes light up as our Puppeteers bring the puppets to life.
The Guyra Lions Club put on an awesome feed for everyone at Rafters Restaurant before they hit the road again.
The King gave himself the L plate award today for falling off his bike. Ant and Brad both got the Most Supportive Jersey - Ant for assisting Kristy and Brad for supporting his team mate Dean by driving him back to Singleton to meet up with his family. Damo got the most supportive jersey for riding even though injured from falling off his bike and never ever whinging or complaining. Bozo got the Joker Jersey for setting the alarm off this morning on the shed that had the bikes in it and waking half of Glen Innes !!
Tonight's fun therapy was Race Night and was great fun with our "bookmakers" really cleaning up !
Everyone is getting really tired but are all in good spirits. Lots of them are on blow up beds tonight, as the country pubs have trouble fitting us all in.
Another 120 kms down today and just over half way - fantastic effort everyone.

Queen of the Mountain - that would be Carol!
